Austin Keaton was born and raised in Turlock, CA. While attending Pitman High School Austin was a two year Varsity starter on the baseball team and a four year Varsity starter on the basketball team. Austin attended and played baseball and basketball for Modesto Junior College (MJC) where he was a All Conference and All State Nominee for basketball.
After playing for MJC, Austin played baseball and basketball for Cluver-Stockon College a NAIA school in Canton, Missouri. On the baseball team he earned All Conference Honors helping the team win the conference. His basketball team made it to the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Tournament. Austin earned All Conference and All American Honors.
Following college Austin has been an assistant coach for the Pitman High School varsity basketball team. We are happy to have Austin as part of the baseball and basketball coaching staff at Backyard Sports Academy.
Stesha Brazil was born and raised in Turlock, CA. She was a 4-year varsity catcher at Hilmar High School where she also played volleyball. Stesha played at the University of Houston for one season where she was a starting freshmen and part of a top 10 program that made it to the super regionals of the Women's College World Series. Stesha finished her last three seasons starting for the Fresno State Bulldogs where she played under the coaches Margie Wright and Trisha Ford.
Stesha was All-Mountain West Conference 2nd Team. Academic All-Conference and a Scholar Athlete. She was nationally ranked in homeruns, runs and RBI's. She was ranked top 10 in the Mountain West Conference for homeruns, RBI's, triples and total bases. She was also ranked top ten on the Bulldogs all time school list for slugging percentage and homeruns.
In the summer of 2016 Stesha was a reserve player for the Dallas Charge Women's Professional Softball Team. Stesha has coached at Golden West College, Reedley College and has helped with local travel teams. Since finishing her Master's degree at Fresno State she has moved back to Turlock and currently teaches at Merced College.
